  • Stephanie Jackson, Chair

    Stephanie is the Senior Vice President of Sales at SimpliScreen LLC. She has 10+ years B2B sales experience, specializing in forming value-based relationships with large enterprise clients. Her work at SimpliScreen has impacted hundreds of post-acute care providers across the country, helping them better manage their entry screening protocols and protect those in high risk groups. Stephanie is also actively involved in her community, she has served in a variety of capacities with the local PTA, regularly supports local elections, and serves as an advisor to the young women’s group at church.

    As Kenzie’s Aunt, Stephanie loves the opportunity to give back to others in the same way they gave so freely to Kenzie.

  • Mike and Camille Reese, Members

    Camille is a Step-Down ICU nurse at Medical City Plano and has been a registered nurse for 13 years. Her greatest joy is being a mother to her children, one of which was Kenzie. Having gone through the stress of long term illness with Kenzie's cancer journey, Camille knows first hand the issues traveling for treatment can cause. Through Kenzie's House she hopes to help ease the burden for other families faced with similar situations.

    Michael is a Senior Living Specialist for Helping Hands-Senior Living Services. He has been in the Healthcare Setting for the last 9 years working as an administrator and achieving CEO status before deciding to branching out and starting his own company. Being Kenzie's dad, Michael knows the burden traveling for treatment can cause and through Kenzie's House, he wishes to help others in the same situation.

  • Stacie Smith, Member

    Stacie is an active community volunteer and advocate for students and youth. Over the past 14 years, she has served in numerous capacities through local PTAs and the Wylie Independent School Board. As a current member of the School Board, she passionately advocates for helping each and every child. Stacie studied Business Management and Marketing at Brigham Young University, and she and her husband have four children.

    As Kenzie’s aunt, Stacie feels blessed to have been able to offer Kenzie and her family a home during Kenzie’s treatments, and she wants families in similar situations to not have the worry and stress of finding a place to stay. Kenzie was a light to all those around her, and it is Stacie’s greatest desire to help in continuing to shine that light through Kenzie’s House.

  • Andy Trusevich, Member

    Andy is a Labor and Employment attorney based in Dallas Texas. He was recently recognized as “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell, their highest possible rating both in legal ability and ethical standards. Andy served as Senior Vice President and an Assistant General Counsel at Rent-A-Center. He has 25+ years experience and specializes in trial work, with emphasis on complex commercial cases and labor and employment cases. He is dual board certified and graduated from Baylor Law School.

    Andy has been involved in children's issues for many years, and it was through this work that Andy was able to meet Kenzie and her family. Andy wondered if there was a way to give cancer families a place to stay when they travel for care... shortly thereafter, Kenzies House was born.

  • Rob Friedman, Member

    Rob is a senior Shareholder at Littler Mendelson, P.C., the largest management-side labor and employment firm in the world. He is board certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Rob enjoys working with national and international businesses, and has successfully argued for his clients before state and U. S. Courts of Appeals and the U. S. Supreme Court. An alum of the University of Texas at Austin and SMU, Rob lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and children. He regularly volunteers at locally and through charitable organizations.

    Rob loves Kenzie’s House and the work we do for families facing challenges and traveling for medical treatment.

  • Brent Jackson, Member

    Brent is an Associate Director at AKASA, a technology company dedicated to remedying the financial complexity crippling healthcare in America through unified automation. Prior to AKASA, Brent was a consultant at The Chartis Group. For nearly a decade, Brent has helped hospitals, health systems, and post-acute care facilities across the country improve their financial and operational performance, better equipping them to serve their patients and communities. Brent's specialties are in healthcare revenue cycle, analytics, and software automation. At Kenzies House, Brent does all the IT stuff.

    As Kenzie's uncle, Brent is glad to have an opportunity to give back some of the love and care that Kenzie and her family received throughout her journey.
