Meet as strangers, leave as friends.

Kenzie’s House helps families with children facing life-altering medical conditions.

We’ve been there. We know what it’s like to get that kind of “bad news.” First and foremost - you’re up to it. Know that!

McKenzie Reese (that’s “Kenzie”) was diagnosed with stage 4f neuroblastoma the day before her second birthday. From day one, we knew it was a long shot, and about a year later, cancer won. That year of fighting… friends, family, and complete strangers came together and offered support in a way that inspired a handful of us to come together and try to give some of that love back.

Kenzie’s House was built on the idea that human kindness is still out there, and we’re in this together. Traveling for specialty care is hard enough - send us a note, let’s get to know each other and see if we can help!

Our Team

The leadership team at Kenzies House is made up of Kenzie’s family and dear friends - which happens to be a diverse group of professionals with expertise spanning a variety of industries, including healthcare delivery, healthcare administration, consulting, sales and marketing, law, and IT. We’ve brought our strengths together to serve families that could really just use a hand.

Help us do more!

Donations to Kenzies House directly benefit families with children facing life-altering conditions. Kenzies House is a 100% volunteer-service-run charitable organization, we are debt free, and have virtually no overhead. In other words, the last donation we received actually fully helped real people needing a hand, and yours will too. And, yes, as a 501(c)3 organization, donations to us are tax deductible.

(A very heart felt thank-you, in advance)

Let us help!

We’re here and we want to help! Here is the entire process:

  1. Send us a brief note about you, your family, or friend that you’re referring

  2. We’ll get in touch to learn more and probably ask a few questions - we’ll be trying to understand the need to travel for specialty care, and what that travel will look like

  3. We’ll let you know what we can or can’t do to help. With any luck, we can make a rough situation at least a little better.

“We will never forget Kenzie’s House. They were so thoughtful about helping us, it was the little things that really made us feel cared about. We were able to get the care our kids needed, and Kenzie’s House was just a huge help in that process.”
